What I repair: I tackle walls, ceilings, skirting and timber damaged by leaks, floods or condensation. Typical work includes drying and moisture monitoring, replastering small to medium areas, stain‑blocking, timber patching or replacement, re-puttying single glazed units where draughts cause ingress, and a final decorative coat so rooms return to normal.
How I prevent repeats: Repair without addressing residual moisture or the source is only a temporary fix. I find the cause (roof, plumbing, upvc joints, blocked gutters or poor ventilation), dry and stabilise materials, then use appropriate sealers, ventilation advice and targeted repairs to reduce recurrence. I supply two free colour samples so you approve the finish, and I’ll leave the area clean and ready to live in.
