Carpentry

How It Works
I visit to inspect the problem, measure, note existing profiles and advise on the best repair or on‑site solution. I explain the scope clearly and answer questions about finishes and access.
Why Choose us for Carpentry?
Two decades of hands‑on experience
20 years in the trade means practical solutions for timber rot, misaligned doors, warped skirting and tricky on‑site adjustments — not guesswork.
Sole‑trader, personal service
You deal directly with the person doing the work for consistent standards, clear communication and a reliable, punctual approach.
Trust and protection
No deposit required and fully insured with public liability cover up to £2,000,000, giving you protection and confidence on every job.
What I do — I offer general carpentry for remedial repair, bespoke small‑scale joinery and on‑site adjustments to existing work. Typical tasks include repairing rotten window frames and sills, re‑fixing loose skirting and architrave, trimming and rehanging internal doors, repairing stair treads and balustrades, making bespoke infill panels, and adjusting built‑in cupboards and shelving for a snug, decorated finish.
Practical preparation for decorating — I tailor every job to the decorator’s workflow: remove failed mouldings, replace or repair substrates, block stains and seal joints so paint and wallpaper adhere correctly. I can also supply two free colour samples for any visible timber finishes to help you choose a final coat that matches your scheme.
